A note on PARKING in Philadelphia

  • Street-parking near the vet school is limited. Many streets are restricted to 2-hour parking only (without a special pass). Please park carefully as we do not want you to accumulate parking violations.

  • The University of Pennsylvania offers some VISITOR PARKING options (with hourly rates), visit Penn Parking for more parking info and map. We suggest the parking garage on 38th and Walnut because it is the closest.

  • Please contact your hotel or host directly to ask more about parking.

Visiting Philly

In addition to the Special Species Symposium we encourage you to make the most of your trip by visiting some of Philadelphia's many attractions! Commonly visited sites include South Street, Fairmount Park, Reading Terminal Market, Rittenhouse Square, Old City, Independence Mall, and the rest of University City and the University of Pennsylvania.
