Dr. Lindsey Vansandt

Non-domestic Felids Conservation

Dr. Vansandt is a post-doctoral scientist and a veterinarian at Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) located in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Her current research focuses on conservation and propagation of endangered felids, and improving the health and welfare of feral and shelter cats.  In her lecture, she will provide insight into semen freezing in non-domestic felids, hormone treatment regimens to allow for timed artificial insemination, and the overarching goal of applying laparoscopic oviductal artificial insemination in these species.
