Michele Pich is the counselor in charge of the Veterinary Grief Counseling Program at Penn Vet’s Ryan Hospital. In addition to running the Penn Vet Pet Grief Support Group and Cleo’s Caregivers Group, a support group for owners with aging pets, she provides individual and family counseling for veterinarians, students, and clients of Ryan Hospital undergoing difficult times in the life of their animals. Her lecture will be on enabling veterinarians to take care of their own mental health in addition to caring for their patients.
