Turtles get Bored Too! Enrichment in Captive Zoo Animals

Katie McAfee is an Environmental Educator and the Animal Curator for Briar Bush Nature Center in Abington, Pennsylvania. She manages the collection of 25 animal ambassadors used in educational programming, which includes both domestic and wild animal species such as snakes, an eastern screech owl, turtles, a Virginia opossum, rats, and a turkey vulture. She received her B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University and her M.S. in Environmental Education from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
